The Study Coordinator will assist with pre-clinical contract research studies. They will also work closely with other internal staff and clients to ensure the quality and integrity of study data and the timely completion of client reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Study Coordinator will assist with pre-clinical contract research studies. They will also work closely with other internal staff and clients to ensure the quality and integrity of study data and the timely completion of client reports. Responsibilities include:
•Maintain Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
•Communicate directly with Study Directors, Research staff and Research Support staff to assist in developing effective communication regarding SOP’s and protocol development
•Assist with study forms, notebooks and other necessary materials for studies
•Review scientific raw data continually for clerical error, thoroughness and consistency, and to ensure compliance of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines
•Coordinate correction of raw data directly with Research Staff
•Assist Study Directors in monitoring all phases of studies to ensure compliance with protocol
•Respond to Quality Assurance audits to address necessary issues and ensure compliance
•Oversee data entry, spreadsheet validation and data verification

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
•BS degree in a biological or physical science
•1-2 years of directly related experience coordinating, compiling and reporting research data in a Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) or GMP environment
•Strong computer skills in the MS Office package
•Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail
•Ability to be an effective team member
